Position Overview:

The Healthcare Sales Specialist (Nursing Placement) is a professional responsible for promoting and selling nursing placement services to healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and medical clinics. This role involves understanding the staffing needs of healthcare providers and effectively communicating how the nursing placement services can address those needs. The Healthcare Sales Specialist will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, while achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth of the nursing placement company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in the healthcare industry that require nursing staff placement services. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to generate leads, make sales presentations, and close deals.
  • Nursing Placement Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the nursing placement services offered by the company. Stay updated with industry trends and demands in nursing staffing to effectively communicate the value of the services to healthcare providers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their staffing requirements, address their queries, concerns, and feedback promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth in nursing placement services. Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and market positioning to develop competitive strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing recruitment team to ensure a steady pool of qualified candidates to meet client demands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth implementation of sales strategies and to address client needs effectively.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant data. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Education: Provide education and training to healthcare facility administrators and HR personnel about the benefits of partnering with the nursing placement company. Highlight the advantages of accessing a pool of qualified nursing professionals for temporary or permanent staffing needs.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards while conducting sales activities related to nursing placement services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare sales, nursing staffing, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the nursing profession and the staffing challenges faced by healthcare providers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare facility administrators, HR personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as sales manager
  • INR-70 to 80 thousand per month
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
